Are they going to suck or be decent? Haven't kept up too much other than the big singings (Anderson, Lowe and Vasquez).

Me either.. last year I think I said they were going to suck.. This year I don't know.

I also said Chipper could win MVP last year if he stayed healthy, he could have... but of course he got hurt when he was around .400 and had injury problems all year.

Chipper is getting at the age where he will probably have nagging injuries every season. Glavine needs to retire IMO.

As a Mets fan, have to say they will suck... Sorry, couldn't resist.

I think they will surprise people.. I like the Vasquez trade, and Lowe is a nice fit for them. Anderson may be a bit of a reach, due to his age.. but they still have a decent 1-3 (and Jurgens can only get better). They should be ok this year - I say they will finish ahead of the Fish, and could end up #2 in the division. I just don't think they will be back to "division winners" for a few years.

Season opener is getting close - should be interesting. Hopefuly, Selig will step down soon as baseball needs to get a real commish that loves the game and is less worried about $$$$

take care of the game and the $$$$ will follow.

just saw Chipper re-upped (extended contract) for 3 yrs/$2 mil.. I love watching him play because he seems to really care about the game...

(and he named one of his kids Shea!!). Glad to see him remain with the Braves..

Surprised to see a Met fan actually likes him since he has been a Met killer pretty much his whole career.

I almost got to meet him a couple of years ago when I was in NY - my buddy owns Butter(a celebrity hangout in NY).... .and Chipper and Andruw were coming - but when they got there my friend would not let them in since they had too many guys in their entourage.

Braves defense sucks and so does their pen - at least for the first two weeks.

They are not looking too good - it is early. But I am not optimistic.
